INSERTING YOUR OWN IMAGE IN MICROSOFT WORD
-
Open
Microsoft Word.
-
Place
the cursor on the page where you would like the picture to be.

Click
on INSERT on the top toolbar.

Scroll
down to PICTURE.

Move
across to FROM FILE. Click
the mouse when this is highlighted in blue.

Up
at the top of the dialog box that has appeared, click on the arrow
next to the LOOK IN text box.
Tell the computer to look in the 3 ½ Floppy (A) drive OR My
Documents OR the place where you saved your picture.

You
should see the name of the picture that you are looking for.

Highlight
that picture by clicking on it with your mouse.

Click
INSERT.

Your
picture should be on the Microsoft Word document.
Inserting an Image from Clip Art
- Place
the cursor on the page where you would like the picture to be.
- Click
on INSERT on the top toolbar.
- Scroll
down to PICTURE.
- Move
across to Clip Art.
- Browse
through the different categories. Find a picture that you
like.
- Click
on the chosen picture, click on the insert clip icon. (top
picture) The picture will be placed on your document. Close
out of the Clip Art dialog box.
